The New York Jets made a lot of noise throughout the media, when they signed Aaron Glenn to be their head coach on January 25th, 2025. Glenn had been linked to signing with the Jets while being the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator.

Glenn throughout his years was also a former player for the Jets himself, and was a scout with Jets many years ago. As of right now it is going to take some time to see how this goes.

I personally like the move because Glenn understands the pressures of a team that is in the New York Tri State area. Glenn also brings a positive attitude to New York that was shown in Detroit alongside the positivity of head coach Dan Campbell.

Throughout the season I thought firing Saleh during the middle of the season was not a wise move, as I felt it brought a lot of distress to the team and its chemistry. The Jets had to go the rest of the season with many headlines which was distracting to the team, especially regarding Rodger’s future.

The New York Jets have been a team that have not seen a playoff berth since 2010, and it is embarrassing when all these years it has been because of many system’s not working. Aaron Glenn has a lot of work to do regarding how he is going to handle this job.

The New York Giants have decided to keep Brian Daboll as head coach and Joe Schoen as president. The Giants just came off a 3-14 season, and many fans were led to believe both Daboll and Schoen were to be fired by team president John Mara.

Brian Daboll who just finished his third season with the team, has not been able to replicate his first year with the Giants which led to a playoff appearance and a win in the Wild Card round against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Giants went through some drama when they had released quarterback Daniel Jones after they decided to bench him, and he had asked for his release after the benching.

Now the fans are wondering what this means for their future as they now hold the number three pick in the NFL draft with the assumption they go after a quarterback.

The New York Jets are set to interview Rex Ryan on January 7th, 2025. Rex Ryan had previously coached the Jets from 2009-2014.

Many fans are familiar with Rex Ryan as he was the last head coach to lead the Jets into the playoffs back in the 2010 season. Ryan has a 46-50 record with his years with the Jets.

Ryan after being dismissed from the Jets, went on to become the head coach for Jets rival, the Buffalo Bills, from 2015-16.

Many fans have had mixed feelings about this news as they wonder if the Jets were to sign him, can he lead them back to success. Many question if he could help the quarterback situation.

The Jets have been in the news the entire season with Rodger’s future in question, the firing of Robert Saled and Joe Douglas, and performing under the expectations they gave coming into the season.

Rex Ryan has been an analyst for the past few years, since he was fired from the Bills. He had advertised that he would like a chance to return to the team, and help with the issues the team has gone through.

The Jets are still in process of interviewing other candidates, but right now this one has been one of the most eye-grabbing candidates amongst Jets fans.

Kenny Omega was victorious in his return match against Gabe Kidd at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th, 2025.

Omega had been sidelined since December 2023 when he was diagnosed with diverticulitis. Omega was slated to compete in a tag match with Chris Jericho before being sidelined for about a year.

Omega had returned to All Elite Wrestling in a non wrestling capacity. In that return, it was hinting at a future feud with long time rival Kazuchika Okada. It seems as if it may happen when Omega returned at AEW’s World’s End pay per view to congratulate Okada on his victory.

Kenny Omega has been named by many to be one of the best wrestlers in the world. Omega has had many matches that have been met with many positive reviews.

Now with Omega back in the wrestling world, the question is what direction will he be headed in terms of booking.
